I received my Bachelor's degree in Cognitive Neuroscience and Clinical Psychology from University College Utrecht in 2011. Since then, I have been working as a part-time research assistant at the dept. of Psychiatry at the University Medical Centre Utrecht. Currently I am enrolled in the Neuroscience and Cognition Master program at Utrecht University, for which I am doing a 9-month research internship in this lab. My research focuses on the fronto-striatal networks involved in voluntary saccades and response inhibition, which I am mapping out using functional magnetic resonance imaging and diffusion tensor imaging.
