Cognitive control, timing & reward(NICHE-lab)

Summary

ADHD is a heritable, neurobiological disorder. However, we do not yet understand how biological changes lead to changes in behaviour.
This neuroimaging project will test a model that there are three separate neurobiological systems that can lead to ADHD : the systems underlying cognitive control, timing and reward processing. This is an essential step to bring this knowledge closer to the clinic, where it can benefit affected individuals and their families.

This project is embedded in the NICHE-lab headed by Prof. Sarah Durston, and is a cooperation between the NICHE-lab and the STAR-lab at UMC Utrecht.
